FALLING IN LOVE WITH YOUR UNIQUENESS

YOUR SO VERY UNIQUE.

Dear friend of Koikai! Do you know and recognize that you are unique?

Getting to know yourself is one important part of the growth process, but equally important is loving and appreciating yourself. Self-deprecation is a habit, just like all types of negative thinking.

Unless you begin to appreciate your strengths, believe in yourself and reinforce your true capabilities, you will not move forward in life! Sure, you might stumble across the random opportunity and make some progress occasionally, but you won’t accidentally achieve the level of success you desire.

FIRST AND FOREMOST, CHOOSE TO FORGIVE YOURSELF NOW. Forgive yourself for anything you may feel guilty about, for allowing fear to hold you back from what you really want to do, for not believing in yourself, for allowing other people to define you. Affirm that you did the best you knew how to do, but now you know better and will do better.

STOP THE CYCLE OF SELF-ABUSE and begin honoring yourself for the beautiful and brilliant person you were meant to be.

BEGIN A HABIT OF ENCOURAGING YOURSELF. Speak kindly to yourself and affirm your ability to accomplish anything you want. Eventually, you will begin to believe it.

At the same time, WORK ON FORGIVING ANYONE WHO HAS HARMED YOU, BELITTLED YOU OR HELD YOU BACK. Even though these experiences may have affected you in profound ways, they do not have the ability to affect you now unless you choose to let them.

LET GO OF YOUR ANGER, HURT, DISAPPOINTMENT AND BITTERNESS. They do not serve you, and they do not punish the guilty. They only punish you by acting as a heavy weight bearing down upon your shoulders. If you release them, you free yourself to create the joy and success you truly deserve.

STARTING NOW, CHOOSE TO BELIEVE IN YOURSELF AND YOUR ABILITIES. Believe that you can form your life into anything you want it to be. Believe that you can overcome any obstacle, strengthen any skill, tackle any challenge and conquer any fear you may have. The more strongly believe you can do it, the more likely it is that you WILL.

It really is a CHOICE!

GOOD PEOPLE ARE ALWAYS REWARDED.

KEEP GOING

The reality is that when you hit a low point there is always an upside. The point that you want to give up is just the beginning of something new and amazing. When you hit that low it is easy to want to give up.

You feel like you can not go on and odds are stacked against you.

Everything and everyone feel like they are working against your vision for your life. Most of all you don't know why you have suddenly hit this low point that feels like its going to last forever.

Your motivation is non existent, you get out of bed and feel like crap, you are not sure what today will mean or the next for that matter.

All of this is fine. No, I am not giving you some empty promise or meaningless reasons to go on (some people use to say, bro Koikai this is not possible and we feel like this is the last point). What I am telling you is that you must keep going. Even though you feel like you can't but you must.

All of the low points mean something in your life, all of these low points turn into one giant moment of triumph if you keep going and not stopping.

As long as you do your absolute best to be a good person, eventually your life will change. All those small things you are doing for the others will be remembered. Some will give you a chance and believe in you. An opportunity will come from nowhere that you never expected. (I am a living testimony for this)

Rewards always come for those who have earned it. By being a kind, humble and good person that serves the greater good. Helping people who have nothing. Smiling at as many people as you can. Helping people without getting anything in return. Staying positive through learning from different sources. Being patient for the best is near to come into your life. Get ready to be rewarded for your hard work, dedication, love and Discipline.

It is easy to maintain the habit of being a good person. But This is how you can still remain a good person through the chaos that we all experience. Many people say that sounds easy Koikai, But it is harder than you think. BE YOU.

Its a long road towards getting up close and personal with your most important goal but if you stay a path, stay focused and be the person that makes you proud, it will happen.

KEEP GOING

I believe you can get what you seek if you remain focused and don't let the negative emotions in your heard to take over. I know its tough but that's have no excuse. If you want your goals bad enough then you will keep motivated to push through rejections and failure.

Use your selflessness to change your perspective. Look at yourself in third person. See who you are now and who you can be. All of us we can be leaders and when we look at our selves without our self talk and ego's in the way we can see who we really are.

Dare to dream a little. Don't be afraid to think big. If you have crazy, audacious goals then that's even better. Don't be talked out of your mission. Let your passion rip through the barriers that stand in your way.

CHANGE THE OLD AND NEGATIVE HABIT. BUILD NEW AND POSITIVE HABIT.

HABIT is a force which is generally recognized by the average thinking person, but which is commonly viewed in its adverse aspect to the exclusion of its favorable phase. It has been well said that all men are "The creatures of habit," and that "Habit is a cable; we weave a thread of it each day, and it becomes so strong that we cannot break it." But the above quotations only serve to emphasize that side of the question in which men are shown as the slaves of habit, suffering from its confining bonds.

If it be true that Habit becomes a cruel tyrant ruling and compelling men against their will, desire, and inclination, and this is true in many cases, the question naturally arises in the thinking mind whether this mighty force cannot be harnessed and controlled in the service of man, just as have other forces of Nature. If this result can be accomplished, the man may master Habit and set it to work, instead of being a slave to it and serving it faithfully though complainingly. And the modern psychologists tell us in no uncertain tones that Habit may certainly be thus mastered, harnessed and set to work, instead of being allowed to dominate one's actions and character. And thousands of people have applied this new knowledge and have turned the force of Habit into new channels, and have compelled it to work their machinery of action, instead of being allowed to run to waste, or else permitted to sweep away the structures that men have erected with care and expense, or to destroy fertile mental fields.

According to me, A habit is a "mental path" over which our actions have traveled for some time, each passing making the path a little deeper and a little wider. If you have to walk over a field or through a forest, you know how natural it is for you to choose the clearest path in preference to the less worn ones, and greatly in preference to stepping out across the field or through the woods and making a new path. And the line of mental action is precisely the same. It is movement along the lines of the least resistance, passage over the well-worn path. Habits are created by repetition and are formed in accordance to a natural law, observable in all animate things and some would say in inanimate things as well. As an instance of the latter, it is pointed out that a piece of paper once folded in a certain manner will fold along the same lines the next time. And all users of sewing machines, or other delicate pieces of mechanism, know that as a machine or instrument is once "broken in" so will it tend to run thereafter. The same law is also observable in the ruse of musical instruments. Clothing or gloves form into creases according to the person using them, and these creases once formed will always be in effect, notwithstanding repeated pressings. Rivers and streams of water cut their courses through the land, and thereafter flow along the habit-course. The law is in operation everywhere.

I think, the above illustrations will help you to form the idea of the nature of habit, and will aid you in forming new mental paths, new mental creases. And, remember this always, the best (and one might say the only) way in which old habits may be removed is to form new habits to counteract and replace the old undesirable ones. Form new mental paths over which to travel, and the old ones will soon become less distinct and in time will practically fill up from disuse. Every time you travel over the path of the desirable mental habit, you make the path deeper and wider, and make it so much easier to travel it thereafter. This mental path-making is a very important thing, and I cannot urge upon you too strongly the injunction to start to work making the desirable mental paths over which you wish to travel. Practice, practice, practice, be a good path-maker.

THE FOLLOWING RULES WILL HELP YOU IN YOUR WORK IN FORMING NEW HABITS:

1. At the beginning of the formation of a new habit, put force into your expression of the action, thought, or characteristic. Remember that you are taking the first steps toward making the new mental path, and it is much harder at the first than it will be afterwards. Make the path as clear and deep as you can, at the start, so that you can see it readily the next time you wish to travel it.

2. Keep your attention firmly concentrated on the new path building, and keep your eyes and thoughts away from the old paths, lest you incline toward them. Forget all about the old paths, and concern yourself only with the new one that you are building.

3. Travel over your newly made path as often as possible. Make opportunities for doing so, without waiting for them to arise. The oftener you go over the new path, the sooner will it become an old, well-worn, easily traveled one. Think out plans for passing over it and using it, at the start.

4. Resist the temptation to travel over the older easier paths that you have been using in the past. Every time you resist a temptation, the stronger do you become, and the easier will it be for you to do so the next time. But every time you yield to the temptation, the easier does it become to yield again, and the more difficult does it become to resist the next time. You will have a fight on at the start, and this is the critical time. Prove your determination, persistency, and Will power now, right here at the start.

5. Be sure that you have mapped out the proper path—plan it out well, and see where it will lead you to—then go ahead without fear and without allowing yourself to doubt. "Place your hand upon the plow, and look not backward" Your goal is Financial Success—then make a good, deep, wide mental path leading straight to it.

THINK ABOUT THE ANSWER

AN IMPORTANT QUESTION

LIFE CHANGING QUESTION

We are always being asked questions. But what about the questions that change our lives.

I was once asked such a question as a young man. The question was asked one eventful day during a shift I worked as a student in my College.

When I was a student, as part of my responsibilities, I had an opportunity to meeting several elderly men who where all unique in their own way, and some of these gentleman took a lot more care than others, and some were a lot grumpier than others.

A lot of students, quite frankly, did not enjoy talking with these men and would try to avoid spending any more time there then they had to. On the contrary, I took the opposite tack attending to the talks of these men.

Instead of just asking about my academics development, I spent a lot of time talking, learning, just good old give them attention beyond what they needed time. So, I became the main target of their pent up mental energy and honestly, I had a lot of fun spending my time with them.

But, beyond establishing a great rapport with these men, there was one gentleman I spent a lot of time talking with. He wasn't at first appearance much different than the rest but he had a wicked sense of humor and a grand spirit about him

Life Changing Question

One day, after all necessary academics and leadership taks were done and I stayed with them, he called me over to his Office. At first thinking he was about to introduce the obvious topic's, I was ready. Instead, he beckoned me even close so he could obviously speak very quietly to me out of earshot of the other man.

In a soft voice just above a whisper, he asked, . .

"What do you want to be remembered for after you die?"

I was somewhat taken back thinking immediately that he was old  man, may be he got physical distress and required immediate medical attention. I quickly asked, "What's wrong

"No, no, no, nothing bad", he whispered.

"I want you to think about just what I said. What do you want to be remembered for after you die?

I Didn't Understand

"I don't understand what you are asking me". I said confused.

"It really is a simple question but an important question. How do you want people to think of you when you die? Do you want to be known for your humor, for your caring, for helping people no matter who they are, or do you want to be remembered as a person of status, wealth, spending big money on a house, fancy car, long vacations or possessing big assets?"

I know I probably sounded like a babbling idiot to him at that time because I couldn't give him a well thought out answer at all. I still remember feeling uncomfortable because I had no clear answer to give.

A Question Worth Thinking About

Over the years, we may all face this important question. It may be a question that comes to you because of a tragic circumstance, or it may come to you after you have observed or witnessed other people stepping up to many needed issues and taking on great odds to change societal obligations.

It may be a question you ask in later years when you finally realize that you won't live forever. Or, it may also be a question that you may never want to ask yourself because you are too caught up in enjoying the materialistic side of life.

Think About The Answer

Is it time for you to ask, "What do you want to be remembered for after you loose power, ability or die?"

WHAT HAPPENED?

BUILD THE BEST YOU

The miracle power that elevates the few is to be found in their industry, application, and perseverance, under the promptings of a brave determined spirit.

Many motivational experts of today like to say that great people are made through different ways. I would argue the exact opposite. I believe we are all natural born great and best, but have been deprogrammed along the way.

As children, we were natural great, innovative, best, talented, curious and humble, always hungry and thirsty for knowledge, with an incredibly vivid imagination; we knew exactly what we wanted, were persistent and determined in getting what we wanted, and had the ability to motivate, inspire, and influence everyone around us to help us in accomplishing our mission. So why is this so difficult to do as adults? WHAT HAPPENED?

As children, over time, we got used to hearing, No, Don't, and Can't. No! Don't do this. Don't do that. You can't do this. You can't do that. No! Many of our parents told us to keep quiet and not disturb the adults by asking silly questions. This pattern continued into high school with our teachers telling us what we could do and couldn't do and what was possible. Then many of us got hit with the big one institutionalized formal education known as high school, college or university.

Unfortunately, the traditional educational system doesn't teach students how to become the best people they wanted to become; it teaches students how to becoaAme polite order takers for the corporate world. Instead of learning to become creative, independent, self-reliant, and think for themselves, most people learn how to obey and intelligently follow rules to keep the corporate machine humming.

Developing the best in you to live your highest life, then, requires a process of unlearning by self-remembering and self-honoring. Being an effective person again will require you to be brave and unlock the door to your inner attic, where your childhood dreams lie, going inside to the heart. Based on my over three years research in the area of human development and success, here are few easy steps you can take to awaken the genuine person in you and rekindle your passion for greatness.

Humility.

Anything grate starts with humility. To be a highly successful person, you must first humble yourself like a little child and be willing to learn from others. Be humble as a child, always curious, always hungry and thirsty for knowledge. For what is excellence but knowledge plus knowledge plus knowledge - always wanting to better yourself, always improving, always growing. When you are humble, you become genuinely interested in people because you want to learn from them. And because you want to learn and grow, you will be a far more effective listener, which is the #1 tool for growth.

Know your Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats.

This is a useful key to gain access to self-knowledge, self-remembering, and self-honoring. Start by listing all your Strengths including your accomplishments. Then write down all your Weaknesses and what needs to be improved. Make sure to include any doubts, anxieties, fears, and worries that you may have. These are the demons and dragons guarding the door to your inner attic. By bringing them to conscious awareness you can begin to slay them. Then proceed by listing all the Opportunities you see available to you for using your strengths. Finally, write down all the Threats or obstacles that are currently blocking you or that you think you will encounter along the way to achieving your dreams.

Regardless of how busy you are, always take time to do what you love doing. Being an alive and vital person vitalizes others. When you are pursuing your passions, people around you cannot help but feel impassioned by your presence. This will make you a charismatic person. Whatever it is that you enjoy doing, be it writing, acting, painting, drawing, photography, sports, reading, dancing, networking, or working on entrepreneurial ventures, set aside time every week, ideally two or three hours a day, to pursue these activities.

 Dream Big.

If you want to be larger than life, you need a dream that's larger than life. Small dreams won't serve you or anyone else. It takes the same amount of time to dream small than it does to dream big. So be Big and be Bold! Write down your One Biggest Dream. The one that excites you the most. Remember, don't be small and realistic; be bold and unrealistic! Go for the Gold, the Nobel, the highest you can possibly achieve in your field and life. After you have written down your dream, list every single reason why you CAN achieve your dream instead of worrying about why you can't.

Have Vision.

Without a vision, we perish (Even the Bible says this). If you can't see yourself winning that award and feel the tears of triumph streaming down your face, it's unlikely you will be able to lead yourself to victory. Visualize what it would be like accomplishing your dream. See it, smell it, taste it, hear it, feel it in your gut.

Perseverance.

Victory belongs to those who want it the most and stay in it the longest. Now that you have a dream, make sure you take consistent action every day. I recommend doing at least 5 things every day that will move you closer to your dream. This is very important

Honor Your Word.

Every time you break your word, you lose power of moving on. Successful and grate people keep their words and their promises. Keep the promises you promise yourself. You can accumulate all the things and riches in the world, but you only have one reputation in life. Your word is gold. Honor it.

Get a Mentor and a role model.

Find yourself a mentor. Preferably someone who has already achieved a high degree of success in your field (anything you do). Don't be afraid to ask, ask as many questions as you can. You've got nothing to lose. Reuben Koikai.blogspot.com is an excellent mentoring blog and a great resource for finding local mentoring articles. In addition to mentors, take time to study autobiographies of great people that you admire. Learn everything you can from their lives and model some of their successful behaviors. Learn from them, but don't be them.

 Be Yourself.

Use your relationships with other grate people and mentors and your research on great best people as models or reference points to work from, but never copy or imitate them like a parrot. Everyone has vastly different success styles. Be yourself, your best self, always competing against yourself and bettering yourself, and you will become a first rate YOU instead of a second rate somebody else.

Give. Finally, be a giver.

Great people are givers. By giving, you activate a universal law as sound as gravity life gives to the giver, and takes from the taker. The more you give, the more you get. If you want more love, respect, support, and compassion, give love, give respect, give support, and give compassion, Most of it GIVE TIME. Be a mentor to others. Give back to your community. As a great person, the only way to get what you want in life, is by helping enough people get what they want first, be a problem solver. Sir Winston Churchill once said, "We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give."

Refuse to Blame Anyone for Anything

Refuse to Blame Anyone for Anything

The chief cause of negative emotions and the primary destroyer of inner peace is blame, it is not possible to have a negative emotion without having someoneor something to blame in some way or for something.

Blame requires one or both of two factors to exist. The first is identification. This occurs whenyou take something personally: You identify with it. As soon as you decide to feel that someone hasdone or said something negative that affects your personal interests in some way, you immediately become angry and blame that person.

Even if someone who is doing something you don't love completely, you can immediately become angry atthat person, a complete stranger, because you took his driving behavior personally.

But when you learn yourself to detach and stop taking things personally, the negativeemotional charge connected with the person or incident stops almost immediately.

The minute you say positive things to yourself, all negativity associated with any event vanishes and youbecome calm, relaxed, and positive once more
